In May, 2007, my wife Carol and I joined three other couples (Barb and Moe Rodrigue, Heather and Peter Stark and Sue McDonald and Brian Walker) for a cycle trip in Germany and Austria (with a weekend visit to Prague). This was my 21st cycle trip in Europe and Carol's 19th but only our fourth outside of France. You will soon be made aware of my many biases. I am not reticent about letting you know what excites me or annoys me. And I wrote this "blog" each day as we made our way from Frankfurt to Vienna so my verb tenses may slip from past to present and back because my proof reading skills are not dependable. Consider yourself forewarned! There also may be occasional references to euros. At the time of the trip the euro was about $1.50 Canadian or $1.40 US.
