At one point as we climbed the Montagne Noire we came upon this scene: a steady shower of water streaming off the mountain over a rock surface that was "encrusted" with a bright green leafy moss. Unfortunately, I guess the reflection off the silvery streams of water prohibited the true green colour of the plants to show in the photo but it was lush !
